Journey Along The Colne Valley Railway

Running for around 19 miles through North Essex most people's journey whould either start of end at Haverhill or Chappel stations which were interchane stations for Cambridge and London respectively. Trains from Haverhill also served Saffron Walden and Audley End, London could then be reached from the latter station. Trainfrom Chappel headed for Colchester and a chnage at Marks Tey was required for a train south to LOndon.
