The only CVR Volunteer to appear in the film was Dave Underwood who was required o being a train to an emergency halt.
The Crash
The the Mercedes SUV was on site and filmed in the run up to the crash, this image was added via CGI
The Confrontation
Following the crash, and a chase on the train our Hero is confronted by a number of thugs. This leads to his capture by his nemesis.
The Cliff Hanger
The end of part one of the film sees the hero “killed” in an explosion. This section was not CGI but films on site, Although not trains were damaged during the SUV crash sequence, this explosion did cause damage to the ballast and track which took some time to repair.
